I saw a shuttle launch..
Normally my weekly newsletter lands in your inbox every Friday morning, but with the school summer holidays in full swing, I'm switching to just one newsletter a month until September. Normal Friday service resumes then!
July has been gloriously quiet work-wise, and instead consisted of sports days, end of term, Centre Parcs, and being full-time mum for a while. The most important and hardest job I've ever had. I did however catch a shuttle launch… at Legoland ;-)
I only managed to squeeze in two work-related events:
First, I caught up with Dallas Campbell (BBC presenter, actor, and all round great public speaker) at Space Park Leicester to plan some very exciting new things (more on that soon). We'd absolutely love to deliver our public speaking workshops to your company from September onwards, so get in touch if you'd like to know more.

Then it was Farnborough Air Show this week, which mainly consisted of catching up with brilliant friends and ex-colleagues, catching the F35 display, paying £9.95(!!) for a terrible cheese and ham sandwich, and walking approximately 20,000 steps (which is only a slight exaggeration).

PS. I was actually lucky enough to see a real shuttle launch when I was around 10 years old. I think that's when I really caught the space bug!
